BETH FREEMAN

Beth is from New Zealand and has over fifteen years experience working internationally as an Educational Psychologist. She provides professional, targeted, informative assessments for children and young people identified with additional needs in early childhood and school settings.

Beth has exceptional skills relating to children.
She utilises their strengths and the qualities of their environment to address needs and inform educational programmes. Her aim is to empower teachers and parents to work together to provide an effective approach that sets children up for success.  

Beth is a member of the International School Psychology Association (ISPA) and is registered with the New Zealand Psychologists Board (NZPB).

  • Free initial consultation meeting 
  • Assessment of additional needs, e.g. developmental, academic/ learning, cognitive, social, communication and emotional behavioural. This may involve the use of standardised assessment measures, observations, interviews and analysis of school data
  • Ecological/environmental assessment of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This involves naturalistic observations and interviews
  • A clear and comprehensive report provided
  • Follow up supportfor implementing evidence-based recommendations that improve learning and well-being
  • Parents can expect to be informed and involved in every step of the process and in any sharing of information
  • Training, Seminars and Workshops


Offers for schools and institutions:

  • Free initial consultation meeting
  • Systemic assessment of additional needs of the school, e.g. student social interaction and emotional behaviour, classroom management, behaviour and learning support programmes, systems and processes
  • Facilitate systemic changes to improve staff knowledge and skills and more effectively manage resources and processes that support student progress
  • Support for school-based interventions such as social and communication skills programmes
  • Professional development for staff such as seminars and workshops on areas of need. Topics of specialisation include Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), visual strategies, curriculum adaptation, Individual Education Plan (IEP) process, classroom behaviour management and positive behaviour support
